TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all applying institutions will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  1. Eligibility: Award applications are open to all London HEIs (including HEIs outside of London who have London-based campuses) All applications will be judged ‘blind’ by panel members.
  2. Promotional Period: Monday 31st January to Friday 6th
  3. Entry Instructions: See the information on the registration form
  4. One entry per institution. The application can be submitted by any member of staff but must be authorised by an identified member of Senior Management. 
  5. Deadline: Any additional entries after Friday 6th May wont be eligible. Applicants before that date will receive an automatic email confirming receipt.
  6. Assessment: The panel will meet to discuss applications and agree individual award levels across 9 themes using the six indicators of progress/success identified in the award brochure.
  7. Notification: Applicants who are awarded individual levels will be notified by post using the details (named contact and address) provided on the application form. Any Overall Award recipients will be invited to Aimhigher London’s practitioner event on 7th July where the award will be presented.
  8. General: The decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
  9. By making an application for the award, each institution consents to Aimhigher London, publishing or displaying (in whole or in part) any intellectual property contained in the content of their entry, without royalty, payment or other compensation.
  10. Data Protection: All personal information that entrants share with Aimhigher London will be kept secure and only used in line with these terms and conditions for the purpose of the Award application process, unless the applicant has opted in to future communications for the Award. By submitting an application, applicants agree that their information will be used by Aimhigher London to administer the process and shared (anonymously) with panel members for the purpose of assessment and selection. Consent is given to share relevant information should the application be successful and/or recommended for specific commendation through the selection process.
  11. Applications will be held for a period of two months from the date of the awards (7th September 2022) and then destroyed.
  12. Written feedback for each application will be provided to the primary point of contact identified on the application form within a month of the deadline of the announcement of any recipient of an overall winner award (7th August 2022)
